You can earn Gold points based on the eligible items you purchase from participating merchants. Certain items, product categories, and purchases are ineligible for Gold points. Generally, these exclusions are determined by the participating merchant, and not by PayPal. If there are no eligible items in your order, you will not earn Gold points on that order.
