As a PayPal merchant, you will now be able to download your Weekly Digital FIRA directly from your PayPal Business account every week at no cost. The process is completely automated, so you need not place any request for acquiring this important document. Your Weekly Digital FIRA will be available for download and will have reference to your past weeks' foreign inward transactions done via PayPal. When the Weekly Digital FIRA is ready to be downloaded, we will notify you via your registered email address.

Please note: The Weekly Digital FIRA is available from Feb 2026. For transactions prior to Feb 2026, it will be in monthly time frame. For any individual FIRA requests outside of the provided duration, please place a Custom FIRA request.FIRA copies are accessible in the report section of your PayPal account for the last 12 months only. Any request beyond this timeframe will need to follow a custom process
We understand some of you have specific requirements when getting FIRA. To support these custom requirements, we are continuing the existing simple processes where you are charged nominally and get physical FIRA delivered to your bank. You can pay digitally or via DD and get the FIRA delivered to your beneficiary bank. Check below for the details of both options.
A Foreign Inward Remittance Advise (FIRA) is a document that acts as a testimonial for all inward remittances and payments received in India from abroad. Most statutory authorities accept this document as proof that an individual or a business, such as a limited company, partnership firm, sole proprietorship firm and others, has received a payment in foreign currency from outside the country.
