Where can I find PayPal's currency exchange rates?
Our exchange rates are updated every day.
The exchange rate applicable to your payment will be specified at the time of a currency conversion.
To check the currency conversion rate:
- Go to Wallet.
- Below your 'Balance', click Currency calculator. PayPal's current exchange rate is shown below the currency selections area.
To convert a currency balance:
- Go to Wallet.
- Next to the currency you want to convert, click the three vertical dots.
- Select Convert currency from the options shown. PayPal's current exchange rate is shown below the currency selections area.

Use the converter below to get an indication of the currency conversion rate that you may receive when using PayPal for transactions.

Buying and paying transactions are:
(i) Paying for goods or services in a currency other than the currency the goods or services are listed in.
(ii) Sending money to a friend or family member that they'll receive in a different currency from the one you sent.
(iii) Sending money using PayPal's Payouts or Mass Payment products that your recipients will receive in a different currency from the one you sent.
