There are two ways to move money from your bank account to your PayPal account. The time it takes for the money to arrive in your PayPal account depends on which method you chose.

If you moved the money yourself, by sending money from your own bank account to your PayPal account, the money will usually be available within a few minutes.

If you asked PayPal to draw the money from your bank account by direct debit, it will take 4 - 5 working days to arrive.

To find out when the money should arrive in your PayPal account:

1. Go to Activity.
2. Click the transaction in question. You’ll see the expected clearing date.
