What should I do if I think there has been unauthorised access to my PayPal data?

A data incident occurs when data is accessed by unauthorised persons or parties, or when there's loss or destruction of data.

The security of your account is important to us. We have an extensive system of security protocols and controls in place to make sure that we never pass your personal data to an unauthorised party.

If you believe that an unauthorised party has accessed or is in possession of your personal data, contact us immediately. We can temporarily freeze your account while we investigate the incident.
