How can I pay my eBay fees with PayPal?

You can use PayPal to pay your eBay seller fees by manually making a single payment each month or by signing up for Automatic PayPal payments.

To make a one-off payment:

  1. Log in to your eBay account.
  2. Click My eBay at the top of the page.
  3. Under ‘My Account’ click Seller Account.
  4. Under ‘eBay Seller Fees’ click Make a one-time payment.
  5. The amount owed is displayed in the PayPal payment box.
  6. Click the Pay button.

To authorise eBay to withdraw your seller fees directly from your PayPal account each month you can sign up for Automatic payments.

To sign up for Automatic PayPal Payments:

  1. Log in to your eBay account.
  2. Click My eBay at the top of the page.
  3. Under ‘My Account’, click Seller Account.
  4. Under ‘Payment methods for Seller Fees’, in the 'Automatic PayPal Payments' box, click the Sign Up Today button.
  5. Click Continue to be redirected to the PayPal website.
  6. Log in to your PayPal account.
  7. Select the desired funding source and click Continue.
  8. Make sure your Payment Agreement information is correct. You can edit your funding source by clicking Edit Funding Sources.
  9. Once all information is correct, click Sign Up.


To review or modify this billing agreement:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click Payments.
  3. Under 'Pre-approved payments', click Manage pre-approved payments.

eCheques cannot be used as a funding source to pay eBay selling fees.
