How do I link a bank account to my PayPal account?

Here's how to link a bank account to your PayPal account:

  1. Click Wallet at the top of the page.
  2. Click Link a bank account.
  3. Follow the instructions on the page to add your bank account.

To link a bank on the app:

  1. Tap image Wallet.
  2. Tap + across from "Banks and cards."
  3. Tap Banks.
  4. Follow the instructions to link your bank account.

Information for foreigners in South Korea:

  • You won't be able to add a bank account with your Alien ID number.
  • If you registered a business in Korea, you'll need a Corporate ID number to add a local bank account to your PayPal account. If you don't have a Corporate ID number, you can only add a US bank account.     
  • If you have any available balance in your PayPal account and can’t add a bank account to withdraw it, you may use these funds to shop online or send payments to others.
