How is a billing agreement paid?
A billing agreement allows a merchant to charge your PayPal account when you purchase goods from them or use their service. For example, it could be an agreement to pay your eBay seller fees for listing items on eBay.
Your billing agreements are funded by the credit or debit card that you’ve linked to your PayPal account. If needed you can select a different card to pay or change your backup payment method for a billing agreement.
To modify a Billing Agreement:
- Go to Settings.
- Click Payments.
- Click Manage pre-approved payments under "Pre-approved payments".
- Select the merchant’s name whose billing agreement you want to change.
- Click Change under "Payment Method".
- Select your backup payment method and click Save.
