Can I close the PayPal dispute I filed if the issue has been resolved?
You can close a dispute if you’ve reached a resolution with your seller. However, make sure that you’re 100% satisfied with how the dispute is resolved before closing it. Once a dispute is closed, it can't be reopened or escalated to a claim.
For example, if the seller offers to refund your money, make sure the money is back in your PayPal account before you close the dispute.
To close your dispute:
- Go to Resolution Centre.
- Click your dispute in the open case list.
- Click Mark this problem as resolved.
- Click Confirm.
