You will be required to register with AFEX Transferencias y Cambios Ltda (one-time event every year) before receipt of your first transaction. If you are unavailable at the time of the call, they will leave a voicemail message with a call back number. If voicemail is not available, they will send an email. They will also continue to call twice per day for 7 business days. If you are unable to provide the required documentation before the end of the 7th business day, your transaction will be cancelled.
After successful completion of the above, you can expect the funds in your local bank account within 2 business days.
